modprobe: FATAL: Module module.ko not found.

If we insert a module, say module.ko, using modprobe as below

$ modprobe module.ko

We will get the error

FATAL: Module module.ko not found.

This is because, we don't have to add the ".ko" extension while using modprobe.
Thus this will work

$ modprobe module
