Yet Another Way to Hide Files and Folders on Ubuntu

We all already know how to hide files and folders on Ubuntu. Yes, simply append "." dot character at the beginning of the file or folder name. In case, you have to hide many files or folders, this method will take a long time because you have to rename them one by one to append "." (dot) to them. But don't worry, there is another way to hide them, mmm, faster way :IMHO.

Well, please create a new file named ".hidden" (without quotes) and place it in the same place with files and folders you want to hide. For example, files you want to hide are in "Secret" folder, you should put ".hidden" file to "Secret" folder too.

Now, type the name of files or folder into ".hidden" file you've just created. Save it and open Nautilus again. See the magic!

Regards :)
