How to Add Trash Icon on Desktop in Ubuntu
1. To add Trash icon on your desktop press alt+f2 and type gconf-editor to open Gnome Configuration Editor
2. Now browse to
apps/nautilus/desktop
3. On right side you will see trash_icon_visible entry . Check the check box in front of this entry.
Note : You can change the name trash icon .
That's it close the window , you will see trash icon
