How To Install Intel Linux Graphics Installer on Ubuntu

Intel has released a simple tool called Intel Linux Graphics Installer which allows Linux users to easily install the latest graphics drivers for your Intel graphics hardware. This allows you to stay current with the latest enhancements, optimizations, and fixes to ensure the best user experience with your Intel graphics hardware.
In the first public release of Intel Linux Graphics Installer which is version 1.0, it supports Ubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 12.10, Fedora 17, and Fedora 18. I have tested it on my Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal 32bit and everything done well. Please note that it has been reported that Intel Linux Graphics Installer doesn't work on 64bit system architecture and it may break the system. So, please don't use it on 64 system until further notice on Intel Linux Graphics Installer website.

Install Intel Linux Graphics Installer on Ubuntu
You need to download the deb installer which can be found here. In order to "trust" the Intel Linux Graphics Installer, you need to add a key to Ubuntu's software package manager). Please open the Terminal and execute the following command:

• wget --no-check-certificate https://download.01.org/gfx/RPM-GPG-KEY-ilg -O - | \
• sudo apt-key add -

Once the key has been added, install the Intel Linux Graphics Installer deb file:

• sudo dpkg -i intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0_i386.deb

Intel Linux Graphics Installer can be accessed by typing "intel-linux-graphics-installer" from Linux Terminal. Below are some screenshots I have taken from my computer.
