Though I don't use Zorin OS personally, I like their approach in popularization of Linux. You have probably seen my Quick Screenshot Tour for Zorin OS 8 Core already.
Mageia in opposite is one of the permanent tenants on my laptop. I like this distribution very much, enjoying it even with some bugs I encounter. It is time now to have a Quick Screenshot Tour for Mageia 4 GNOME.
(Attention! Heavy graphics!)
Default desktop of Mageia 4 GNOME has some flowery ornaments on the deep-blue background. As usual in GNOME, there is no dedicated menu, but there is an all-screen search tool. You may notice that there is no network indicator on the panel.

Mageia 4 GNOME comes with two browsers included. Firefox 24.2.0 accompanies a simple browser with simpe name Web. Firefox comes without Flash installed, so some of the YouTube videos, for example, will not be immediately available for you. Although, it depends on the YouTube file format. For example, you can still watch my video How-To for keyboard layout configuration.

Keyboard layouts' configuration in Mageia 4 GNOME can be done in GNOME generic style. Unfortunately, it means that you need to use either three-key combinations for the switch, or engage the Super (Windows) key for two-key combination. I've mentioned this already in my article about keyboard layouts in GNOME 3.

You can also read my reviews of Mageia 2 GNOME and KDE and two interviews with Anne Nicolas, one of the leaders of Mageia project.
